As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Plant HR Operations Specialist to join our HR team. This role is crucial in managing and enhancing HR operations at our manufacturing plant, ensuring a productive and compliant work environment.
Position Overview:
The Plant HR Operations Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and executing various HR functions at our manufacturing facility. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with plant management and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and paperwork.
  • Manage the offboarding process, conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth departure for departing employees.
2. HR Policies and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance to employees and management on HR-related matters.
3. Attendance and Leave Management:
  • Monitor attendance records and leave requests.
  • Administer leave policies and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
4. Employee Records and Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Generate reports and data analysis as needed.
5. Employee Relations:
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and grievances.
6. Benefits Administration:
  • Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and insurance plans.
  • Support employees with benefits-related inquiries.
7. Training and Development:
  • Coordinate and track employee training and development programs.
  • Identify training needs and recommend solutions to address skill gaps.
8. Health and Safety Compliance:
  • Collaborate with plant management to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in investigations and reporting of workplace incidents.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 years of HR experience, with a focus on HR operations and plant-based roles preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
